Hello everyone！ As we all know, because of human to nature for excessive, has led to the ruthless nature of revenge, rain, storms, floods, droughts, earthquakes, forest fires and other unexpected disaster.

The painful lesson has attracted the attention of all countries and mankind. The reason is that we destroy natural resources, littering, felling trees, spitting at random, and so on.

There are some people around us, too. Now more and more garbage on the streets, we often see some students waste water indiscriminately, and even some students use the water in the drinking machine to wash their hands, but also use those water to play, and throw them on others.

But I am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. i learnt a lot from my daddy. i learnt to never take things to seriously and to always smile.

It is a great honor and pleasure to be here on this beautiful Saturday morning to share with you my sentiments about life and passion for the English language.

About a year and a half ago， I took part in my very first English Speech Contest. When I stood before the microphone with all eyes starring directly at me， I could hardly speak. I stood there， embarrassed and helpless， struggling in vain for the right thing to say. My fears had paralyzed me.

While my passion for English has never changed， I lost my courage to speak in public. When my professor again encouraged me to take part in this Competition， I said “no.” I couldn’t endure yet another painful experience. He looked me straight in the eye and said something that pierced my heart. I will never forget his words. “Look，” he said， “We all have our fears， and you have yours. You could twist your ankle in a basketball game， but then be afraid to ever play again. Running away can never dispel your fears， but action will. A winner is not one who never fails，but one who never quits.”

I spent a whole day with his words twisting and turning in my mind. Then I made the bravest and wisest decision of my life: I would face my fears – and take part in the competition!

As it turned out， my dear old professor was right. Now， here I am， once again standing before a microphone. My heart is beating fast， and my mouth is dry， but most importantly， I have faced my fears -- and that makes all the difference!

Maybe I seem less mature or experiences than my most colleagues. But I still believe age is not important. Compared with age, passion energy and confidence are more significant!

Admittedly, life has its ups and downs, its peaks and valleys. So I encountered certain difficulties in the work. However, I strongly believe the best way to success is to keep your direction and stick to your goal. Direction means objectives. The right direction is like a lamp. This lamp can guide you in darkness and help you overcome obstacles on your way. Otherwise, you will easily get lost or hesitate to go ahead.

I never fear difficulties or failures. Because I believe success is going from failure to failure without losing passion. In fact, the ultimate failure is not trying, for it means you can never make progress toward your goals. Rainy days will end and the sky will be beautiful again.

In short, everyone should have a direction and keep this direction, no matter what difficulties he or she will encounter.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the two most important holidays in the Chinese calendar (the other being the Chinese Lunar New Year)， and is a legal holiday in several countries.

Farmers celebrate the end of the summer harvesting season on this date. Traditionally，on this day，Chinese family members and friends will gather to admire the bright mid-autumn harvest moon， and eat moon cakes and pomeloes together. It is also common to have barbecues outside under the moon， and to put pomelo rinds on one's head. Brightly lit lanterns are often carried around by children.

Together with the celebration，there appear some special customs in different parts of the country，such as burning incense，planting Mid-Autumn trees，lighting lanterns on towers，and fire dragon dances. Shops selling mooncakes，before the festival，often display pictures of Chang'e，floating to the moon.
